rhinoplasty treatment

After nose surgery, it’s sometimes difficult to breathe because of the inflammation of the inner surface and formation within the nose. However, if a lot of cartilage is detached from the nose during the surgery, it will become even harder to breathe through the nose.

The problem also occurs because of the nose pipe is squeezed to a smaller gradient. The two nose pipes that everyone has on both sides of the nose can be quickly reported as the angle where the wall of the nozzle comes in contact with nares (nostrils).

Additionally, this area is about 1.5 cm inside the nose, and if the angle has become shorter after the operation, the doctor might fix the spectrum or reduce the size of turbinate and that may cause troubles in breathing.

But if the doctor cut the tip remarkably, the patient might have a valve collapse, and that causes breathing problems too.

If the issue continues then this could be after a lump depletion of the nose and to test if your nose pipe is creating the problem; put your first finger and thumb inside the nose as if you are going to pinch it.

“The area you want to put your hand is right where the tender part of your bridge meets the bony part that is approximately halfway up your nose”

Now, when pinching adequate to hold the skin, move the tissue towards the forehead.

If you are having no problems with the skin moved upwards, you probably have nose pipe problem which can only be corrected by nose surgery done by an operation.

The patient may feel their nose to be stuffy and won’t be able to breathe for a short time because the skin on the tip of the nose may be numb.

Along with difficulty in breathing, they may have itching or shooting pain in the first few days of the surgery.

Many people undergo nose surgery to make the nose look better, although some of them experience difficulty while breathing.

On the other hand, some suffered that breathing through the nose after the nose surgery became more comfortable for them as one week after surgery.

Nose breathing will improve over time, and the patient will feel normal again within one or two months after the operation. The patient has to wait for a short time to notice the improvement in breathing after the initial healing period.

There can be problems and Yes, it is a possibility. Fortunately, it’s very rare!

Every operation has potential complications and rhinoplasty is no different. The breathing problem is usually one that is solved by rhinoplasty rather than created, but yes there is a possibility that your breathing could be worse after a rhinoplasty than it was before.

This may be due to complications arising and usually this is a result of formation of adhesions.

Now, every person who has a rhinoplasty will have a blocked nose for a week to ten (10) days, maybe two (2) weeks after the procedure,

because simply the internal nasal passages are swollen just as the external tissues are and as a result the nose is blocked same as if you would have in a cough or a cold or flu.

Swelling Nose

That will gradually resolve as the swelling dissipates and the breathing will get better, but there is always a lot of scabby crusty material, little bits of dried blood, mucus and so on…

inside the nose after surgery and it’s very important that is flushed and cleansed away because if it isn’t, that can form the basis of what we call adhesions; this is where the internal tissues are touching,

and become stuck together and eventually grow together as such the problem with that is that it blocks the breathing passage and the only way that that can be solved is further surgery.

It’s definitely something that needs to be avoided.

So, diligence in cleansing the nose after the surgery is absolutely paramount.

These things all taken into account results in usually an improvement in the nasal passage, breathing after surgery, but if it doesn’t go well there can be problems and yes, it is a possibility. Fortunately, it’s very rare.
